15th Annual Dollars & $ense Financial Literacy Competition

On March 25 2017, 100 Black Men of Indianapolis will hold its 15th Annual Dollars & $ense Financial Literacy Scholarship competition. Student participates will compete for 1st place ranking and scholarship awards. PowerPoint presentations will be used to convince a panel of judges of their level of knowledge in investment strategies, asset allocation, and diversification, through the selection of stocks, bonds and REITs.

The “100” Financial Literacy Scholarship program has been recognized locally by the Indiana State Senate, FOX59, Indystar, and the Indianapolis Recorder. In addition to local recognition, the program has been recognized nationally five times as 1st place winner in the Dollars and $ense National Competition sponsored by State Farm several times since the program’s debut in 2002.

This event is free and open to the public.  High school students (9th through 12th) are encouraged to attend exciting event.
Date: Saturday, March 25, 2017
Venue: Indiana University Health 340 W. 10th Street (downtown area). Fairbanks Hall
Time: 11am until 2pm
